Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LoginSign ("we", "our", or "us") and our website, authentication services, and related offerings (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

LoginSign provides privacy-focused social login and single sign-on (SSO) services. You can sign in to third-party applications using your preferred identity provider (e.g. Google, Apple, GitHub) through LoginSign. We provide a stable user ID, display name, and optionally a masked email address to integrated applications—we do not share your real email unless you consent. Masked emails are relay addresses we operate; messages sent to them can be forwarded to your real inbox.

3. Eligibility and Account

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may close your account at any time from your account settings; our Privacy Policy describes how we retain and delete data.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe the rights of others (e.g. intellectual property, privacy).
  • Transmit malware, spam, or engage in phishing or fraud.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or third-party systems.
  • Abuse or overload our infrastructure or interfere with other users.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms or pose a risk to the Services or others.

5. Developer and Integration Terms

If you integrate LoginSign into your application or use our API or developer portal, you must:

  • Use the data we provide only for authentication and related purposes described in your integration.
  • Comply with applicable data protection laws (e.g. GDPR) and have a lawful basis for processing user data.
  • Not sell or use user data for advertising or profiling beyond what is necessary for your service.
  • Honour user rights and direct users to our Privacy Policy where appropriate.

We may revoke API keys or suspend integrations that violate these terms or our policies.

6. Intellectual Property

The Services, including our brand, software, and content, are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Services in accordance with these terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred euros (€100), whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LoginSign and its affiliates, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Changes to the Services and Terms

We may change the Services or these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms on our website and indicate the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these terms, for legal or regulatory reasons, or for operational necessity. You may terminate your account at any time.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
